William D. Pitney,
William founded FocusYOU as a client-centered alternative to traditional financial sales and advisory services. He recognized that people need a different kind of financial service—one that focused on their individual needs rather than those of the advisor and Wall Street.
Instead of simply dispensing advice and selling financial products, William collaborates closely with his clients and educates them to achieve a deeper understanding of their financial choices. He then coaches them to develop sound, realistic financial strategies and tactics and to make decisions that balance their short-term needs and long-term goals.
As a truly independent, Certified Financial Planner™ professional, William is not beholden to any particular financial company, strategy or product. Rather, he educates and coaches his clients to reach financial decisions that are right for them.
William believes strongly that education is the fundamental tool for improving yourself and the lives others. With this conviction and his ongoing commitment to his client, William studies diligently to enhance his knowledge and completes a minimum of 40 hours of professional education annually.
William received a BA in Sociology from the University of Kentucky, an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Marketing from The University of Arizona, and a Professional Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA. He has also completed formal training in investment fiduciary responsibilities through the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. William holds AIF®
(Accredited Investment Fiduciary) and RFC® (Registered Financial Consultant) certifications and is a licensed insurance agent in California.

Rosanne Arthur. As Client Services Manager, Rosanne has worked closely with William since 2006, providing extensive operational business experience to the team and service excellence to clients.
Rosanne comes to the team with experience in franchising operations, commercial real estate and management of a law practice, among other ventures. Additionally, she has sales experience as well as process management experience throughout several different industries. As a business owner, her understanding of "how things work" both from a dollars and cents perspective as well as a macro-economic viewpoint allows her to focus on clients' needs.
Her background as both an entrepreneur and manager of complex organizations enables her to anticipate issues before they arise, and equips her with problem-solving skills to resolve them quickly and efficiently once they do. Favored by clients for her can-do attitude, Rosanne is widely admired for her ability to "cut to the chase" and address clients' needs in a professional and effective manner.
Rosanne has a BS in Business from Antioch University. She has participated in numerous classes regarding operations, management and financial industry issues.

Crystal Reed. As the Support Services Specialist, Crystal works closely with Rosanne to ensure that all the information about your needs and accounts is correct and manages it electronically. She brings extensive computer knowledge to the team providing us with the internal support to provide great service and advice to our clients. Additionally, Crystal is charged with the firm's website initiatives including the FocusYOU client portal and social media.
Crystal graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College with degrees in Social and Behavorial Science, Religious Studies and Humanities. She is married and lives in Rohnert Park with her husband and young son.
